Rain also rocks for all of our palms and flowers that we've planted.
But rain is also bad. For all of the obvious reasons. If people are vacationing this week they've had some sun and a lot of shady wet days. Not fun when you're trying to enjoy your tropical vacation. And yes, I know, island showers are supposed to last for 5, 10 mins. Most of them do. However the Man and I live on the rainforesty side of the island, which means are downpours last much longer.
Here is a picture of our pool basically overflowing from two days of downpour last May:
And that, students, concludes today's lesson on rain.
Today is my last waitressing shift for the week. It wasn't my intention to go four days straight, and today is my longest yet: 10:30 - 4:30. I'm weary just thinking about it, so here's hoping it flies.

Rain on a tropical island means nothing to do but sit inside and drink...which is very good for waitresses I would expect! And by the way, its not snow so let's try not to bitch too much about it, m'kay?
